1994 m. The mixed vocal ensemble “Smiltelė” has been an integral part of the musical life of Panevėžys for three decades. From the first performances accompanying the dance groups, the ensemble has grown into an independent participant of the stage, and today it is not only a part of the folk dance ensemble “Linas”, has a joint programme with the folk music band “Pokūda”, but also organises its own separate programmes.

Conductor Dalia Gaspariūnienė has been leading the mixed choir Čiūto since 1987, preparing it for song festivals and festivals. “We create a celebration of our lives by singing”, says the choir director.
