Founded in 1960, Čiūto is one of the oldest and strongest mixed choirs in Panevėžys, bringing together singers of all ages. The choir actively participates in the Republican Song Festivals, international festivals and competitions, and is constantly recognised for its professional sound. For this ensemble, concerts and rehearsals are like a small daily celebration with like-minded people, warm communication, support and, of course, love for song. Conductor Dalia Gaspariūnienė has been leading the mixed choir Čiūto since 1987, preparing it for song festivals and festivals. “We create a celebration of our lives by singing”, says the choir director.
