We invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Between Thought and Colour” in the foyer of the small hall of the LDS Kaunas Branch, Watercolour Section.
It is a sensitive visual journey through the artists’ inner experiences, moods and impressions of the moment. In the exhibition, colour becomes a language of emotion as well as image, and the light, transparent watercolour brushstrokes allow the fragile changes of states and thoughts to unfold.
The works are intertwined with natural motifs, abstract sensations and subtle details of everyday life. In some, calmness and concentration prevail, in others, a spontaneous pulsation of colours, reminiscent of the flow of thought or an unexpected emotion. Watercolour here becomes an intermediate space between the visible world and the inner human landscape.
The exhibition invites you to stop, look and feel – a silent dialogue with yourself, a mood that is hard to put into words, but can be felt in colour. It is a journey between silence and feeling, between the impression of the moment and the artist’s thought, leaving room for each viewer’s personal interpretation.
