19 March. a musical journey with “Parent Songs” in Panevėžys!
Three wonderful voices – Vaida Genytė, Aistė Pilvelytė and Paulius Bagdanavičius – present the concert programme “Parents’ Songs”.
The nostalgic, warm and sensual programme “Songs of Parents” invites listeners to remember the most beautiful Lithuanian stage songs that have accompanied them for generations. Three prominent Lithuanian vocalists – Vaida Genytė, Aistė Pilvelytė and Paulius Bagdanavičius – meet on stage to resurrect songs once performed by such legendary artists as Stasys Povilaitis, Virgilijus Noreika, the band Hyperbolė and many others.
The concert will feature the familiar works “Švieski me again”, “Žalioj stotelėj”, “Skinsiu raudoną rožę”, “Sudeginti tiltai” and many others. A musical journey through the songs our parents used to sing, and we sing today!
This concert is a bridge between the past and the present, between the memories of youth and the feelings of today. Listeners will not only enjoy top-class vocal performances, but also rediscover the beauty of Lithuanian music.
