An exhibition of works from the “Reflections” watercolor plein air event, dedicated to the memory of artist and educator Algirdas Lukštas (1921–1992), opens on November 4 at the Panevėžys Cultural Center.
Since 2021, a plein air workshop held in Skrebotiškis, in the Pasvalys region, has been bringing together professional watercolorists, including former students and colleagues of A. Lukštas. This creative tradition began to mark the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth and continues to this day to carry forward the path of watercolor art he championed.
The exhibition features works by various artists that reveal the subtlety of the watercolor technique, the lightness of color, and each artist’s unique perspective on the world around them.
Exhibiting artists: Aušra Andziulytė, Lolita Braza, Laima Drazdauskaitė, Rita Kišonienė, Vilija Kinderavičiūtė, Violeta Latvytė, Neringa Marcinkevičiūtė-Strazdė, Raimundas Majauskas, Kristina Mekienė, Marija Rastenienė, Onutė Šližienė, Saulė Urbonavičiūtė, Jolanta Žalalienė, Violeta Židonytė.

The exhibition will run from November 4 to December 7 in the foyers of the Small Hall and Event Hall at the Panevėžys Cultural Center.
