The summer festival “Let’s meet on Friday” is a city that creates itself.
This summer, “Let’s meet on Friday” invites you to get to know Panevėžys anew – as a city that is constantly changing, growing and creating itself through people, ideas and experiences. Each Friday becomes a different story of the city, revealing its different faces – from identity and history to contemporary creativity, to being together and active leisure.
The festival spaces – Liberty Square and Senvagė – are transformed into a lively city centre throughout the summer, where music, art, discussions, education and leisure activities converge. Here you can stop by during the day, enjoy “Lunch with Music”, engage in creative activities or just enjoy the rhythm of the city.
In the evenings, the space fills up with concerts, performances, community initiatives and open-air cinema, inviting you to experience summer together. Each theme is a new invitation to engage, discover and experience the city from different angles.
This year, “Let’s Meet on Friday” is not only a series of events, but also a process in which Panevėžys reveals itself as a city in the making – alive, open and constantly changing.
