This play by the Trakai Culture and Arts Center Theater is based on a play by Ray and Michael Kuni.
According to director Robertas Čuta, this is a completely lighthearted play that could be described as a “dark” comedy or a farce. There was even a suggestion to change the original title to something much more evocative—“Three Brothers and a Corpse in a Sack.”
The story begins when Linda and Tomas, a married couple living in London, are preparing for an important visit from an adoption agency inspector—the couple is planning to adopt a baby. Everything seems to be perfectly prepared, but Tomas has two brothers—Dick and Harry—whose arrival instantly turns their perfectly planned day upside down.
Dick returns from a smuggling trip carrying cigarettes and brandy and unexpectedly discovers that he has brought back two illegal immigrants from Kosovo. Harry drags a corpse from his workplace—the morgue—which, in his opinion, should come in handy for the prospective parents… As if all that weren’t enough, the police and the Russian mafia soon show up.
