At the Panevėžys Cultural Center—a concert featuring melodies from legendary movies, performed by one of Lithuania’s most prominent jazz pianists, Vytautas Straižys.
The program will feature well-known pieces from the films “Interstellar,” “The Godfather,” “Amélie,” “Titanic,” and other cinematic masterpieces—melodies that have accompanied memorable stories on the big screen and become an integral part of them.
In Vytautas Straižys’ interpretations, these well-known film melodies will take on a new life—performed with virtuosity, sensitivity, and improvisation. The sound of the piano will allow you to rediscover music that tells stories of love, longing, memories, and important moments in life.
We invite you to an evening where cinema and live piano music come together.
