The ensemble has performed at 20 Republican, Schoolchildren and World Lithuanian Song Festivals, more than a hundred international dance festivals in Europe and around the world, and has won many awards. Currently the ensemble consists of 4 dance groups of different ages from 1st to 12th grade. Here, young people discover the joy of dance, nurture their talents and build community. Join us, we are waiting for you!<\/p>\n<h3>Upcoming events:<\/h3>\n<p>International Children\u2019s and Youth Folk Dance Festival \u201cFriendship Unites Us\u201d (March)<\/p>\n<h3>Achievements, Awards<\/h3>\n<p>:<br \/>\n2002 \u201cGolden Bird\u201d nomination for \u201cBest Dance Ensemble and Director\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Ensemble Director:<\/h3>\n<p>Zita Rimkuvien\u0117, a prominent figure in Lithuanian culture, choreographer, and ballet mistress and teacher. She is the founder of the \u201cGrandin\u0117l\u0117\u201d children\u2019s and youth dance ensemble (1978) and the \u201cLinas\u201d (1980), which she continues to lead to this day. In 2012, she was honored as \u201cPanev\u0117\u017eys Resident of the Year,\u201d a title nominated by the Panev\u0117\u017eys City Municipality, for her contributions to culture and the arts In 2022, she was awarded the \u201cServe Lithuania\u201d Medal in Memory of Gabriel\u0117 Petkevi\u010dait\u0117-Bit\u0117 by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
