The end of the year has its own unique rhythm. Some are already counting down the days until Christmas, others are making plans for the New Year, and the little ones are eagerly awaiting the magic of the holidays. The Panev\u0117\u017eys Cultural Center is marking this season with a program of events that has something for everyone\u2014from families with children to lovers of live music, theater, and dance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From November 20 through the very last day of the year, the cultural center will host four different events. Younger audiences can look forward to a cheerful and heartwarming Christmas story about two curious little mice, while adults will enjoy evenings of live music and dance, and a special New Year\u2019s concert program will ring in 2026.<\/p>\n

The events during the holiday season will remind us that cultural experiences know no age limits. For some, it will be their first time on the theater stage; for others, it will be a long-planned evening with friends or a chance to spend the last day of the year listening to their favorite music.<\/p>\n

A dance tradition that never loses its charm<\/strong><\/p>\n

On November 20 at 6:00 p.m., the Panev\u0117\u017eys Cultural Center will host a dance evening featuring Birut\u0117 and Vaidas D\u017ee\u017eulskis and the band \u201cVel\u017eio vyrai.\u201d<\/p>\n

The musical duo and the band led by Vaidas have put together a program that will feature plenty of familiar songs, beautiful voices, and dance music. This is an evening for those for whom live music, dancing, and getting together with friends are still among the most cherished leisure traditions.<\/p>\n

Dance evenings at the cultural center aren\u2019t just a chance to listen to your favorite tunes. They\u2019re also an opportunity to get together, socialize, and turn an ordinary evening into a small celebration.<\/p>\n

A Christmas story where people\u2014not miracles\u2014take center stage<\/strong><\/p>\n

December 26 A story inspired by Ign\u0117 Zarambait\u0117\u2019s book *The Secret Letter-Writing Agency* will come to life on the stage of the Panev\u0117\u017eys Cultural Center\u2014a Christmas play for children and the whole family titled *The Happy Bump*.<\/p>\n

Its heroines, two curious little mice named Goja and Berta, notice something that sometimes goes unnoticed amid the festive hustle and bustle\u2014not everyone welcomes Christmas with joy. Determined to change this, they set off on an adventure where even the smallest act of kindness can become a momentous event.<\/p>\n

The play speaks sensitively and clearly about friendship, acceptance of differences, paying attention to those around us, and the ability to notice those who need it most.<\/p>\n

Although the story is intended for children, it contains ideas worth reflecting on for adults as well. After all, sometimes the greatest gift isn\u2019t what we find under the Christmas tree.<\/p>\n

On the second day of Christmas, the play will be performed twice\u2014at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

Five Hours of Music Between Two Major Holidays<\/strong><\/p>\n

On December 27 at 6:00 p.m., the Panev\u0117\u017eys Cultural Center will host a performance by Giedrius Le\u0161kevi\u010dius and the live band \u201cDixXband.\u201d<\/p>\n

The five-hour program, prepared for this festive dance evening, will feature a mix of Lithuanian and international hits, original songs, and musical pieces from different eras.<\/p>\n

The period between Christmas and New Year\u2019s has its own unique charm\u2014the hustle and bustle of the preparations has already subsided, and the start of the new year is still ahead. It\u2019s a time to take things slow, spend more time with friends, and enjoy the things we don\u2019t always find time for in our daily lives.<\/p>\n

This musical program is designed for just such an evening, where live music and dancing will be the highlights of the night.<\/p>\n

On the last night of the year\u2014global hits and three queens of the stage<\/strong><\/p>\n

On December 31 at 7:00 p.m., the band \u201cQueens of Roses\u201d will perform at the Panev\u0117\u017eys Cultural Center.<\/p>\n

Three charismatic performers will ring in 2026 with a program specially prepared for New Year\u2019s Eve, featuring songs by the legendary bands ABBA and Queen, jazz melodies, and other well-known global hits.<\/p>\n

This performance, which blends music from different generations, promises an energetic, elegant evening filled with live sound. Familiar melodies, powerful voices, and on-stage energy will create an atmosphere in which the last day of the year will become yet another opportunity to enjoy music.<\/p>\n

The end of the year, where experiences matter most<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the nature of the four events and their audiences differ, they are united by the opportunity to briefly escape the daily grind with vivid experiences.
